It certainly was an evening of fun and fundraising at our charity’s Fall Gala Dinner & Auction.

Every moment was a highlight – from the four-course meal prepared by guest Chef Mark McCrowe, who, together with the culinary team at the Mount Peyton Resort & Conference Centre, served up an award-winning meal – to guests enjoying the Central .360 Photo Booth and the local band Landlocked; all in a beautiful setting decorated by the talented staff of Polished Events.

Special mentions to Chad Hart of Atlantic Spirits & Wines for supplying the cocktail ingredients for our Gala Signature Cocktail, the "Springer Dinger", honoring

the Blue Jays baseball team and to The Exploits Valley Mall for sponsoring our Table Wine!

And thank you to Artist Angela Foss who created a beautiful print which every guest was gifted as a thank you for their support!

Our event fundraisers – the 50/50 Draw, Silent and Live Auctions, and Wine Pull received amazing support from all in attendance! We could not have achieved such success without our event sponsors and the business community and volunteers who donated cash, prizes and their time!

Thanks to your generosity, we raised over $17,000! As a result, we’re pleased to be nearing completion of fundraising that will see the replacement of Cardiac Crash Carts in all our healthcare facilities in the south and central region, including those at our regional health centre in Grand Falls-Windsor. A $75,000 commitment!

Gala proceeds will also fulfil our $30,000 investment in supporting the Rural Innovation Lab - a training facility for physicians and other healthcare professionals - soon to open in our community. It will play a vital role in advancing skills, fostering collaboration and improving rural healthcare retention.
