Our Golfing for Green Annual Charity Golf Tournament (now named the Wendy Houlihan Memorial Golf Tournament) is over for another year and it was a huge success, with $26,994.82 raised! We thank everyone involved and if we have forgotten anyone, we apologize as it really does take a village to make this event a success. All proceeds will support children, youth, and their families who will benefit from upgrades to the Pediatric Clinic and Obstetrics Family Waiting Room at CNRHC.

This year’s tournament was quite different, as we were missing one key person, our late Executive Director, Wendy Houlihan. Our Golfing for Green Charity Golf Tournament is now named the Wendy Houlihan Memorial Golf Tournament, as the Staff and Board of the South and Central Health Foundation have named this tournament in Wendy’s honour, as a thank you for everything she gave to the foundation and the people of the south and central region. We miss her every day, and we continue to remember the impact she has had on so many lives. Thank you to all involved for sharing this special day with us.
